The YUM Bab Al Yam

First Restaurant review on my blog, it had to be from Burj Al Arab. This magnificent man made wonder is not only the The most Luxurious 7 star hotel in the world but also the glorious symbol of Dubai.

I have been celebrating my birthday every year with Burj Al Arab ever since I am here in dubai. Because there is no other place than Burj to treat myself the best on my special day.

This year, I was traveling on my birthday so missed performing this ritual. But I took my brother to Bab Al Yam for his Birthday Treat. He loved the surprise, we went crazy clicking photos, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

 

This buffet restaurant is not just a regular buffet, it is Burj’s Buffet, Extensive array of dishes, most fresh ingredients, live coking and baking stations, cool and serene ambiance, the signature Burj luxury and friendly staff, what else you can expect from cities most classy buffet place? we experienced more than what we were expecting.

 

We started our lunch with the bread station and salad bar. I guess I refilled my salads for more than 3 times. quality and quantity at salad bar was something exceptional. Freshness of ingredients and harmony of flavors is impeccable, whether it’s a healthy mix or seafood salad. Everything is here. And same goes for the main course specially the sea food variety.

 

You can get freshly made pasta in your choice of sauce. Freshly baked Pizza and tapas station is also there. I had Shrimp Taps and Fusilli in Pink sauce, and they were outclass!

And oh man! that Foie Gras! the best one I ever had!

When you will walk in bab al yam I am sure the First thing that will grab your attention is their famous chocolate tap. Yeah, a running chocolate tap! You can pick from fresh fruit on sticks kept in pretty jars and then either dip them in the running chocolate or fill a bowl from this goodness. Unique concept and Trust me it’s the best chocolate I have tried in Dubai.

it was their manager’s second day on work but he seemed well aware of everything, and kept checking if we need anything. I loved how he specially came to our table and wished my brother. The complimentary birthday cake was yummy.

So not only the food and the chocolate tap there are a lot of reasons that will make you visit this place again and again. Without any exaggeration I can say that for a casual dining with luxurious experience in Dubai, Bab Al Yam is the best that you will find.
