“Fashion repeats itself” that’s utterly correct. 2016 is currently experiencing a huge revival of fashion scene from 90s. Countless styles and trends which were popular during 1990-1999 are popular once again. Dark Lips, Chokers, Platforms, Dungarees, Crop Tops, Flared Pants, Bardot Tops are all over these days. I was too young to follow all trends at that time and wasn’t allowed to do makeup. So yuppie! I have all the reasons to play 90s dress up now. we all must have Thought that we would never see sky high platforms again? Or those lacy chokers? thumbs down!! They are not odds anymore.
90s era was the birth year of carefree street style fashion, that’s why Adapting 90s Fashion in 2016 is tricky, you have to incorporate all those trends with 2016’s Modern Street Style Fashion.
Get my 90s meet 2016 Look:
I challenged myself to recreate a 90s carefree outfit while looking On-Trend. And To create this whole Look I choose these piece from my 90s inspired wardrobe:
- Low rise dark blue Jeans
- Rustic Orange Bardot Top
- Black Lacey choker
- Platforms
Once again I am wearing Bardot Top from Newlook. Uniqueness of its color and fabric took my heart at first glance. for makeup details check out “beauty” section. I hope I did justice to the whole look. Do leave a message if you want me to create more 90s inspired looks.
